The ZDZ line of engines are manufactured in the Czech Republic they are known for their great power to weight ratio, Low Vibration, low weight, and reliability.

The exhaust system was purchased from RC Showcase it includes a header pipe, canister muffler, coupler, and clamps.

7/3/06 I ran the engine for the first time and I got to tell you this thing has a ton of power. This is my third gas engine and the biggest to date. First attempts at starting it didn't go as well as I hoped but still not all that bad.

Starting procedures were as follows. Choke on, ignition on, half throttle flip it till it kicks. Choke off, ignition on, throttle at idle flip it till it starts.

8/5/06 I ran the egine again with the cowl in place all seemed well. I changed the starting procedure a little and was able to start the engine twice with little trouble.

Starting procedures were as follows. Choke on, ignition off, full throttle flip it to get some fuel up. Choke on, half throttle, ignition on, flip it till it kicks. Choke off, ignition on, throttle at idle flip it till it starts.
