Crib for Kayley As some of you may know I'm going to be a grandfather soon... due date July 6th 07 ...anyway I've taken some time off from modeling to build a crib for our new arrival. It was quite a project but well worth it. It's built from solid oak and is all mortise and tenon joints. Approximately 170 individual pieces here are a couple of pics of the finished product.

Work Bench I've always wanted a large work surface that is accessible from four sides on casters to give it some mobility. So off to my local Home Depot I went to purchase some lumber and materials. I designed the bench to hold my file cabinets and possibly some shelves or pegboard. Here are some pictures of the construction and finished product. I'm happy with it although it turned out a little higher than I'd like but that was governed by the height of the file cabinets...

Hirobo Shuttle ZXX Heli I've been fooling around with a heli for about three seasons trying to get the knack of hovering the beast. I haven't exactly devoted alot of time to it so it's going slow. Pattern Flying I've become interested in flying pattern and I'm planning on competing in the 2007 season. I need a direction for my flying something to strive for instead of just burning holes in the sky. I attended my first pattern meet The Granite State Pattern Primer and although this was not a full blown pattern contest I found it quite interesting and fun. I've joined the special interest group The National Society of Radio Controlled Aerobatics and am looking foward to attending a few contest in 2007.
Red Bull Air Races While on vacation I had the opportunity to attend the Red Bull Air Races in San Diego Ca. All I can say is WOW ! These guys are nuts what a show they put on. If you ever get the chance to see them don't pass it up you won't be disappointed. Here are a few pics.
